I was born and raised in Key West and started fishing with my grandfather when I was just 8 years old. He taught me not only how to fish, but also a deep respect and appreciation for the ocean. From an early age, I knew life on the water was what I wanted to pursue. As soon as I was old enough to carve my own path, I jumped fully into the fishing industry. I started commercially, working in trapping, diving, and hand-lining, gaining firsthand experience and learning the waters of the Keys inside and out. While I loved commercial fishing, I also discovered a passion for sharing the experience with others and putting people on fish, which naturally led me into the charter industry. Over the years, I worked my way up from first mate to owning four charter boats located on the historic Charter Boat Row in Key West. Along the way, I had the opportunity to learn from some of the best captains in the business, and I’ve passed that knowledge and passion on to my crews. We believe fishing is about more than just catching fish. It’s about creating excitement, making memories, and sharing the thrill of the experience. Any captain can take you for a boat ride, but our crews take pride in putting guests on fish and making sure everyone has a great time doing it.
